Playing virtual villagers 5

Just finished first play of virtual villagers 5.   There were more challenge than previous vvs.   In fact I didn't read any game guide or walk through before playing, I just tried every possibilities.   Most of them failed.  For example, I didn't know how to covert heathens, so I missed puzzle 1.  I was stuck on energy limit on 40 something for a long time.  And I was so annoyed until I searched online for solution.

I started over for second play immediately.  This time I carefully chose 5 very young members aged 14 to 20, skipping those dislike fruits, berries, running, working or like daydreaming....etc.   I completed puzzle 1,2,3 within 1 hour.  It's very important how you play at the beginning.  I wrote down some of my strategy as below.

Building skill
Set up 4 adults preferring skill at building including the concerted doctor.   Then made 2 of them tear down bamboo barrier to build food storage, and the others dismantle hungry totem.

Restoring the mausoleum

Re-set 1 adult to harvest noni for your village.  Drag 3 adept builders to restore the mausoleum.   The blue heathens were burying.   In case of loading too many debris, I had these heathens listen to the truth first, they all had flashlight on their head.    Whenever they were near mausoleum, I dragged an adult to explain the truth again.  The heathen would run away because of being tired of listening.   Around 15% remaining, the purple mask master builder would come over burying.  Just kept on restoring,  3 builders would complete the task.


Building the statue
Dragged the 3 adept builders to center of village.  Had them to build the statue.   After they finished the first section of statue, the center area would be clear.   The 2 yellow mask guards who watched over the firewood would go back to their original study, so your villagers had plenty of wood to start building love hut and small hut.   Moreover, your energy would increase as well.

Mushrooms

During the period of first playing, I tried godly power as many as possible.  I found that using blossom power on the camp or dry pond, there would grow some beautiful flowers and mushrooms, especially the rare mushrooms.   Dragged kids to pick up as soon as possible before the heathen were back to the camp. Or the mushrooms would vanish.
